Dr. Derron Lee named California Optometric Association Young Optometrist of the Year!

Dr. Derron Lee and Dr. Leanne Lee shortly after receiving the award.Sacramento, CA, February 10, 2009 – Dr. Derron Lee, Stockton Optometrist, was recently named Young Optometrist of the Year for 2008 by the California Optometric Association (COA) during its annual House of Delegates meeting in Sacramento, California, January 30-31, 2009.  Dr. Lee was honored for his significant contributions to organized optometry and his local society, the San Joaquin Optometric Society (SJOS).

“I’m ecstatic to receive this award; it’s an honor.  What’s even better is that I received this award from my colleagues.  I love what I do as a profession; and receiving this award is just icing on the cake.”

Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Leanne Lee is a native of the Stockton area. She graduated from Tokay High School in 1993.

Dr. Lee practices full scope optometry with a strong emphasis on Pediatric Vision Care and Vision Therapy. She is one of the only doctors who offer Vision Therapy in the Central Valley. Vision Therapy helps children who are having learning difficulties in school.
