Philanthropy by Midtown Optometry
Drs. Derron Lee and Leanne Lee are passionate about serving their community through philanthropy.
At Midtown Optometry, we believe strongly in giving back to the community and caring for the eyes of all those in need. Outreach programs represent an opportunity to show the community the level of commitment our optometrists have to their community. The staff also plays an important role in community outreach. All of our offices participate in the Optometry Giving Sight Program as well as other charitable services.
Dr. Derron Lee and the Midtown Optometry team are proud to give back to the community they call home. Over the years, Dr. Lee has volunteered his time and expertise in a variety of ways, including serving as the Eye Clinic Physician at St. Mary’s Interfaith Community Center and providing free eye care and eyeglasses for the United Farm Workers Association.
His commitment to the community extends beyond eye care. Dr. Lee has volunteered with the Stockton Emergency Food Bank, collected eyeglasses for the Lions Club, helped build a library for the Child Abuse Prevention Center, and supported local students attending Science Camp in Jones Gulch through donations from office proceeds.
Through Dr. Lee’s Gift of Sight program, hundreds of community members have also received access to complimentary eye exams and eyeglasses.
Midtown Optometry is also proud to support local organizations and community events that promote health, wellness, and connection, including the St. Joseph’s Fun Run/Walk for Wellness as a Fit for Life Sponsor.
For Dr. Lee and the Midtown Optometry team, caring for the community goes beyond the exam room. It means finding meaningful ways to give back, support local families, and help make quality eye care and wellness more accessible.
