Community Partnership for Families and it's Diamond Cove Ii Resource Center is hosting their first Harvest Arts and Crafts for low income residents residing around and within the area of the resource center.  The event is held on Friday, November 13, 2009. 

Their goal is to provide parents and children the opportunity to unite and collaborate with local Community Based Organizations in making the neighborhood safe and fun again for families to come together and socialize; become leaders and advocates for their community; take bck the street and deem it SAFE again. 

Midtown Optometry supported the event by providing families with turkey dinners for the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Drs. Derron and Leanne Lee and the staff at Midtown Optometry hope this sends a positive message that we care about the future of our community and the overall safety of our children. 

The Resource Center will be offering families vast amount of information and resources regarding their child's health, education, and social/emotional welfare.
