Dr. Leanne Lee, O.D. Doctor Of Optometry

Dr. Leanne Lee is a native of the Stockton area. She graduated from Tokay High School in 1993.

She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of California Davis in 1998.

In 2003, she earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the State University of New York, College of Optometry.

Dr. Lee received the presitgious award of California's Young Optometrist of the Year in 2009 from the California Optometric Association.  Optometrists who have made significant contributions to their profession and their community are given this award. Her husband, Dr. Derron Lee, received this award in 2008!  Back to back recipients!

 

Dr. Leanne Lee provides full scope optometry for the entire family.  She has helped many children succeed in school through the Vision Therapy program.  Vision Therapy helps children who are having learning difficulties in school.

To ensure the ocular health of infants, Dr. Lee examines children at 6 months of age for their first eye health exam.  She is proud to be a InfantSee Provider.  (www.infantsee.org)

Dr. Lee diagnoses and treats medically related eye conditions. She received her ocular disease training from the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Lee has volunteered for many community events and organizations.  Recently, she volunteered for the Family Day In the Park event; over 300 kids were seen.  Go to www.facebook.com/midtownoptometry to see the event photos. 

She holds active membership in the California Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and is a Board Member of the local San Joaquin Optometric Society.

Dr. Lee currently resides in Stockton and is married to her high school sweetheart, Dr. Derron Lee.  Their first son, Logan, was born on May 1st!
